Hi, I'm Katie and I am a licensed professional counselor based in Westport, CT. I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sacred Heart University, where I currently serve on the Advisory Board for the program. Before stepping fully into private practice, I spent years working in special education, supporting individuals from early childhood through emerging adulthood with a wide range of neurological differences. That background shapes everything about how I work. I am patient, I am attuned, and I genuinely meet people where they are. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. I have an extensive special education background working with individuals from toddlers through emerging adulthood with various neurological disorders. I also work with individuals with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADHD, and more. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, specifically teens and those in emerging adulthood (think ages 18-30s) and more. In addition, I enjoy working with siblings of people with special needs.
